Annual Police-Fire-Sheriff Mass

You are invited to participate in the annual Police-Fire-Sheriff Mass at St. Cecilia Catholic Church on September 13, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. This year’s Mass will also commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Herbert Hotel Fire and 25th anniversary of September 11th. A reception will follow in the hall.
The Police-Fire-Sheriff Mass originated as an annual way to honor the firefighters who lost their lives during the 1946 Herbert Hotel Fire and continues to honor all of our first responders. The Mass is sponsored by the San Francisco Fire Department, San Francisco Police Department, San Francisco Sheriff’s Office, San Francisco Park Rangers, and the Archdiocese of San Francisco.
