Centering Prayer is a modern prayer practice introduced by Cistercian Monks that is aimed towards resting in God and consenting to God’s presence and action in our lives. The emphasis is on our relationship with God based on Jesus’ teaching in the Gospels. All are welcome!
Mary English has practiced Centering Prayer for about 35 years. She had her training to be a presenter of Introductory Workshop on Centering Prayer from Thomas Keating, OCSO and staff of Contemplative Outreach. She facilitates a Zoom Centering Prayer meeting on Tuesday evenings. Mary is part of the CFF and Liturgical ministries at St Agnes.
