Christian Faith Under Siege

Christians face persecution and discrimination at unprecedented levels across the globe, with systematic targeting of believers in 25 countries and discrimination documented by papal charity Aid to the Church in Need in 38 more. What is happening and what are the long term effects of Christian persecution? Aid to the Church in Need Director of Outreach Ed Clancy will share statistics compiled by the papal charity as well as personal stories of people who are suffering and dying daily for their faith. The presentation will be followed by a short Q & A session.
From the deadly jihadist violence sweeping Africa’s Sahel region to the authoritarian crackdowns in Nicaragua and North Korea, the persecuted Church endures grave threats to religious freedom on every continent. Don’t miss this informative event during Religious Freedom Week!
