April 2 @ 1:00 pm

Sharing Easter and Humanity with Our Neighbors Inside
This Easter season, we invite volunteers to help bring Christ’s hope and joy to our incarcerated brothers and sisters through a meaningful act of service: delivering Easter treats inside the San Francisco County Jails.
Thursday, April 2, 2026
Visiting Schedule:
- 11:00 AM — County Jail #2
425 7th Street, San Francisco, CA 94102 - 1:00 PM — County Jail #3

Volunteers may join one or both of the service visits.
What Volunteers Will Do
- Accompany the Restorative Justice Ministry team inside the jails
- Distribute Easter treats to residents
- Offer a brief greeting, presence, or prayer as appropriate
- Help extend compassion and dignity to those who are often isolated during holidays
No prior experience is required — just a compassionate spirit and willingness to serve.
Requirements
All volunteers must complete:
- Online volunteer registration, and
- A background check form, register at: www.sfarch.org/rjvolunteer
Once cleared, volunteers will receive additional instructions prior to the visit.
Easter is a celebration of renewal, hope, and resurrection. Bringing this message inside the jails is a powerful witness of Christ’s mercy — reminding incarcerated individuals that new life is possible and that the Church walks with them even in difficult times.
Your presence can make a profound difference.
