Jubilee Years- what they are and how we can celebrate 2025 as the designated Jubilee Year of Hope! 2025 has been designated as a Jubilee Year of Hope in the Church. But what are Jubilee Years? Where do they come from? What have they been historically? What are they today? How do we celebrate them? and finally, what does a Jubilee Year for Hope mean specifically for us in 2025?

About our presenter: Fr. Michael Liliedahl is currently the director of campus ministry for San Francisco State University, teaches part-time at St. Patrick's Seminary as a member of the faculty, serves as the parochial vicar at St. Stephen's, and is just about halfway through his studies to earn his STL degree. He grew up in Alaska and taught high school along with coaching football, basketball, and baseball before entering the seminary and being ordained for the Archdiocese of San Francisco. In what little free time he has, he enjoys reading, playing golf, and planning his next exotic trip.
