After returning to St Agnes to preside at mass, Fr. Eduardo will share from his book, Mexican-American Catholics (Paulist Press), addressing the devotion to la Virgen de Guadalupe and how she literally embodies the Word made flesh.

This event will be presented in English at 11:45 (following the 10:30 mass) and in Spanish at 2:45 (following the 1:30 mass).

Fr. Eduardo C. Fernández, SJ, is professor of pastoral theology and ministry at the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara Univeristy and the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA. He earned his doctorate from the Gregorian Pontifical University in Rome.
