This year, Vocation Awareness Week will be November 7 through November 13.  This is a week-long observance in the Catholic Church in the United States for promoting and praying for vocations to the priesthood, the diaconate, and consecrated life.  In response to our Lord’s call to pray for “the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest" (Mt 9:38), the Office of Vocation will help to plan and arrange county-wide Holy Hours to pray for vocations on Vocation Awareness Sunday.  We encourage parishes to promote these Holy Hours and/or to consider some concrete and intentional form of prayer that your parish could do together on Vocation Awareness Sunday or during the following week.
