Priests honored at annual jubilarian celebration

Priests celebrating milestone anniversaries of ordination were honored May 13 during the Archdiocese of San Francisco’s annual jubilarian celebrating in recognition of their years of priestly service.

The evening began with Solemn Vespers in the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption, and the celebration continued with a dinner and fellowship among clergy. Archbishop Cordileone congratulated the priests on their anniversaries and thanked them for their faithful service to the Church. He reflected on the lasting impact of priestly ministry lived with fidelity, generosity and perseverance over many years.

The event serves as a moment of gratitude for the vocation of the priesthood and the many ways priests accompany the people of God through the joys and challenges of life. The priests honored represented decades of service in parishes, schools, hospitals and ministries throughout the Archdiocese of San Francisco and other dioceses and religious communities.

The following priests were recognized during the 2026 Jubilarian celebration:
